Do I need an ongoing plan?

A lot of changes occur in short periods of time on the Internet.

The main reason to update your website software is to ensure it remains secure.

WordPress plugins and themes are created by multiple developers and are consistently updated to work with the latest version of WordPress. Sometimes they also address security issues and bugs.

It is not guaranteed that updates to WordPress will not break your website, nor that plugins will continue to function if not updated.

Do you update premium plugins and themes?

We sure do.  If  you hold an active license to the theme and/or plugin we will upgrade it.  If the subscription has expired we will contact you and let you know.

What if my website includes customisations?

WordPress can be heavily customised by way of child themes and included tools built into themes options. These methods ensure that they are not affected by core updates.

If your website does not adhere to this standard then updates may affect your website.  We will contact you to discuss the best way to keep your site up to date and secure.

Will you help with SEO, Social Media and other requests?

Search Engine Optimisation requires a good deal of human time to do correctly, and requires constant attention and care.  These plans cover the security performance of your website from a technical and user perspective.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel at anytime.

We just ask that you give us 30 days notice. That way we can perform a final tune-up and remove our administrator credentials.

What happens if an update breaks my site?

If this happens, we will fix it!

We take great care, making ourselves aware of what each update includes, but sometimes an update can result in the unexpected and things break. Using our knowledge and skills we will get it fixed.

If the cause of the issue is too complex we may revert your site to the previous backup and get in contact with you.  Your website will always remain functional.
